From day one my windshield was loose on the left side. It would not quite tighten with the lever. After taking the seat, top shelter, instrument panel and mirrors off I noticed that on the lever mechanism there is an "L" shaped bracket that was underneath another "L" shaped bracket. I put it back together with the bracket on top of the other bracket instead of underneath it and VOILA, the windshield is no longer loose.
